WHAT IS THE PEDESTRIAN ALERT SYSTEM

Due to the quiet operation of hybrid and electric vehicles at low speeds, the system creates a subtle sound to alert pedestrians.
The system is on when your vehicle is running and not in park (P). Some sound may be audible in the passenger compartment.
In addition to the sound, the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E will come equipped with a Pedestrian Alert System that will use a camera and radar system to scan for pedestrians in the path of the vehicle. If a pedestrian is detected, the system will alert the driver and provide an opportunity to brake or steer around the pedestrian. The system will be standard on all Mustang Mach-E models.
