Powered by the lithium-ion battery pack, the ES6 being the latest addition to the NIO portfolio is a 5-seater mid-sized production SUV, with a body length of 4,850 and a wheelbase of 2,900mm. the new model is shorter and smaller on the whole (around 190 inches). It comes down from a seven-seated ES8 to a five-seated configuration, yet it shares similar features, an underpinning architecture, and the same platform as its sibling.  While the ES8’s aesthetics were more compact, the new ES6 is more athletic and sharper than ES8.  Other features available to the buyers include a fully electric, two dual motor and an all-wheel drive options. Its chassis and body are fully covered in aluminum, whereas the drivetrain is all-wheel drive standard and active air suspension. The design consists of the company’s signature “Spark Beat” taillights and the X-Bar. The NIO ES6 is an SUV with a similar architecture to the larger ES8, yet, less sporty and cheaper.  This four-wheel drive comes with a standard version of a 215bhp permanent magnet motor that turns each axle. It has an exceptionally strong aluminum structure, with a torsional rigidity of 33139lb-ft/degree. It has an impressive static attributes with well-finished and a spacious interior.  The high definition of 11.3 inches infotainment display has a similar feel to a Tesla.  The pricing is quite interesting, claiming to be much more expensive than other models.  Given the length of 4,850 mm, the NIO ES6 has a high-tech and sophisticated mobile living space.  This is the first-ever model to have a microfiber headliner, integrated sports seats, and a three-spoke steering wheel to create a vibrant and dynamic cabin space.  It looks modern with a great built. With its in-house NIO Pilot system and more than 20 driver assistant features, the NIO PES6 is always up to date and involving. This newest SUV that has hit the NIO portfolio is greatly influenced by its record-breaking electric vehicle technology, the EP9 that claims numerous tracks and vehicle track records in the world.  This latest smart SUV can go from 0 to 100km/h in only 4.7 seconds, with the range going beyond 510 km. The NIO ES6 starts from 358,000 yuan, however, the Performance trim brings the price tag up to 398,000 yuan (about $58,000), and the ES8 variant starts at 456,000 yuan (about $66,000). Its control and physical buttons are a rare sight, placed under the center screen and on the steering wheel.  The dashboard adopts a similar format as seen in Volvo and Tesla. With this model, the drivers can easily switch between numerous driving modes, offering an enjoyable and a comfortable experience. Its design is more of a hybrid structure of carbon fiber and aluminum structure in its class.  Through-out the vehicle, it is made of 91% aluminum with a creative use of aircraft -grade 7 Series aluminum. The ES6 is more solid and lighter as the structural elements are composed of high-strength carbon fiber.
