The 2023 Nissan Leaf is equipped with a Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) system that uses sensors to monitor the area behind and to the sides of the vehicle. If the system detects a vehicle approaching from either direction, it will provide an audible and visual warning to the driver.
