Xpeng ADAS system, generally known as XPILOT, has advanced features like adaptive cruise control and parking assistance. XPilot 2.5 is an advanced version of 2.0. XPilot helps its users to cover 85% of parking scenarios and utilize approximately 32.3 seconds using the self-parking system. The G3’s XPILOT 2.5 Automatic Driving Assistance System (ADAS) only helps in driving. It does not help in bad weather like a thunderstorm, flooding, rainstorm, etc. XPILOT 2.5 also does not help in managing traffic. The driver has to manage the traffic while driving. Sometimes, the driver has to intervene if there would be a problem in the ADAS system to assist the steering or maintain the distance between.
The core competency of Xpeng is its automatic driving assistance system which is known as XPilot. It is quite popular among the consumers in the EV car market. According to the latest report of consumer acceptance, about 50% of customers of G3 and 90% of customers of the P7 model have purchased the automatic driving function.
